It is easier to accept the reality of book bans and how widespread they are and not question whether or not one state skews data if you recognize that for every ONE reported book ban, there are likely 3 or 4 more that are not reported.

@veronikellymars Is there a good way to verify if my public school district's book challenges and/or bans are included when stats like this are put out? I have the book challenges submitted through August for our district (FOIA) and assist to only be missing one or two submitted since then.
