HE Edwin Sifuna the 6th Steals the Show at Migwena Cultural and Sport Grounds in Bondo Siaya County as he receives a standing ovation from Kenyans towards Baba Raila Odinga's 1st anniversary. Buana bondo is sifunated. Ruto has no place in Kenyan hearts. 🏃‍♂️WANTAM

Jeff, you owe an sincere apology to Elijah. That young man wasn’t trying to disrespect you. He was trying to grow. He saw a chance, took a breath and walked up with a camera and a dream. You answered with a physical push. Elijah is somebody’s son. Somebody’s brother. Somebody who is grinding the same way a lot of us had to when no one was looking. He didn’t deserve to be pushed aside like he didn’t matter. You have the platform. You have the years. You could have said “not now” politely and kept walking. You chose to put your hands on him. Apologise to Elijah. Look him in the eye and say sorry. Not for the internet, for him. And apologise also to all young Kenyans in the creative space who just watched a senior figure treat their hunger like an inconvenience. @KoinangeJeff, this was un-called for and we’re not asking for a statement. We’re asking for you to remember what it felt like when you were the one trying to get a word in.

Dawa ilipenya wasee😂 Rob Finnerty finally made his apology on air to the people of Nairobi and Kenya at large. Chesaa!

OPEN LETTER TO NEWSMAX Re: TAKE THE VIDEO DOWN AND APOLOGISE ON AIR — OR STAY SILENT AND OWN THE INSULT Dear @NEWSMAX, Your host Rob Finnerty went on air and casually used Nairobi as the punchline for urban decay. He said immigrants move into “blue sanctuary cities” and suddenly those cities “start to look more like Nairobi than New York City.” No Kenyan was even in the segment. The people he interviewed were from Guatemala, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Mexico and Guinea. Nairobi was just a convenient, lazy insult he reached for because it sounded third-world enough for his audience. Kenyans called it out. Hard. Within hours the word “apology” was trending in Kenya. Finnerty eventually posted a soft, smiling apology on X. “I misspoke.” “The passion you have for your city is amazing.” The usual damage-control script. That is not an apology. That is a tweet. The original video is still up. Your platform has said nothing. You have not taken the clip down. You have not put Finnerty back on air to say the same words to the same audience that heard the insult. So here is the demand, raw: Take the video down. Immediately. And put your host back on television and make him apologise properly on the same platform he used to reduce a capital city of over five million people to a slur for disorder. Not a tweet. Not a note. On air. Nairobi is not your metaphor for failure. It is a city of businesses, traffic, skyscrapers, matatus, and millions of people who do not need a Newsmax host to explain to Americans what decline looks like. Your network just handed Kenyans another free lesson in how cheaply some American media will throw an African city under the bus for ratings. We have already seen the tweet. We are still waiting for the actual correction. Until the video is gone and the apology is on air, the original statement stands. And so does the damage. Kenyans are watching. Signed, The people of Nairobi and Kenya. x.com/NEWSMAX/status…

Rob Finnerty, FYI this is KOX in under 2weeks. You are next on the list. Your pathetic apology to the people of Nairobi and Kenya at large is NOT ACCEPTED. WE DEMAND AN HONEST APOLOGY MADE LIVE ON NEWSMAX TV. PERIOD!

I want to offer an apology to the people of Nairobi, Kenya. The passion you have your city and homeland is amazing… We all make mistakes. I misspoke, and I am sorry to anyone I have offended.🙌

Dear Mr. Rob Finnerty, your apology is NOT ACCEPTED. You can’t offend Kenyans on a live show and expect us to accept your 3 sentence tweet post. We demand you to use the same platform you offended us to apologize to us. And thank you Lynn for your swift response.

Now why do you need this horrible video?? She looks like Onyango Tate gf😂

Who has that video of the girl that went to eat at an expensive place hoping to get a rich man to pay her bill, then she kept turning her neck like an ostrich looking for a potential sponyo? It’s urgent 😔

Just like that, Susan tweet aged beautifully. Wicknell Chivayo died in a helicopter crash in Harare. It turns out laundering millions and being the ruling elite's golden benefactor buys you plenty of front-row access, but gravity doesn't take kickbacks. Who cleans up the laundered assets now?
