@Soul_StormOP @honkaistarrail huh? it has always been the standard with Hoyoverse to drop their character trailers a week before their release? they have done this since Genshin .. what are you on about? lol

@Rina_tokkikissy @Xanyduwu @yerintopic i think they are independent, changing boards usually doesn't mean anything unless specified that those in SouMu are from Hybe .. also why are you guys mad at Hybe when they are bringing them together for their anniversary?

@Xanyduwu @yerintopic why HYBE? Source Music is their company and SouMu makes their own decisions.

@leahteasdale00 @Frasuzma @Reventriol @saltyymoon @acheswaan then don't listen to them? why would you care about other people? you don't need a GAME to tell you that you're fine — if you're seeking validation from a video game then you'll just get disappointed.. seek validation and comradery from irl representations.

@94520663mv @ninabeIlatrix1 @rapplerdotcom then why did she say only 192 of 6300 target classrooms were built? is it because 3,000 of them were still under construction?

@leahteasdale00 @Frasuzma @Reventriol @saltyymoon @acheswaan then don't hide your freckles for a beauty standard? why do you NEED a game or the media to tell you what you want to hear? Do it yourself, empower yourself — you don't need a game or a media to tell you that your features, skin tone and body is beautiful.

@leahteasdale00 @Frasuzma @Reventriol @saltyymoon @acheswaan that's different because that is an irl problem — a game doesn't have irl problems nor should people expect it to be, it's cool when they address it but it's also fine that they don't. you're arguing about "forcing someone to change" but you're forcing a fictional character +

@leahteasdale00 @Frasuzma @Reventriol @saltyymoon @acheswaan a game is also just a game? i'd rather have irl representation than from a game.

@leahteasdale00 @Frasuzma @Reventriol @saltyymoon @acheswaan i'm just saying — as one of these dark skinned asians, forcing something be it fictional or non-fictional to be a skin tone darker than what they were meant to be is a bit weird.

@leahteasdale00 @Frasuzma @Reventriol @saltyymoon @acheswaan i know, i am this kind of asian lol but I don't need to see myself in everything that i do

@Frasuzma @leahteasdale00 @Reventriol @saltyymoon @acheswaan also like i 90% think that if you asked the people who made Rappa's edits on why they made her skin darker — they'll answer "oh because she's a rapper"

@Frasuzma @leahteasdale00 @Reventriol @saltyymoon @acheswaan like, for me — I don't need to see myself in every game that I play. I'm more than happy to see one medium to dark skinned character with an amazing story than a lot of medium to dark skinned characters with half-assed stories just for the sake of diversity.

@Reventriol @Frasuzma @leahteasdale00 @saltyymoon @acheswaan for me, it's accidental because to them and their mind set they are doing a good thing at making her dark skinned for the sake of diversity when in actuality, they are already borderlining the stereotype

@Frasuzma @leahteasdale00 @Reventriol @saltyymoon @acheswaan it's the same issue with Rappa, she's a cyberpunk ninja yet people made her skin darker because of her name and assume that she has to be a darker skin tone because she raps? like I feel like that's accidental racism at this point

@saltyymoon @leahteasdale00 @Reventriol @acheswaan i know. i'm just saying that it's weird to make change a fictional character's skin tone just to match their va's. plus, unless an announcement was made — i wouldn't make assumptions considering how in the livestream she was still listed as the VA for her.
