@LiamHalligan Liam is right net zero is nonsense but the U.K. auto industry will go bust anyway. With net zero or without. Because it is uncompetitive against the current benchmark-Tesla.
@TeslaMotorsClub I bought a model Y and was sold a mobile connector for additional fee. The car also had connector included. Tesla offered refund but its collection agent DHL is awkward and quite rude too. I expect better from Tesla.
@theevking I am your regular viewer. A colleague, based in UK, has just cancelled a Model Y after unsuccessful attempts to complete online purchase. Found the system dysfunctional, customer service useless. Frustrated and decided to buy a non-Tesla EV. Sad.
@TeslaBest I am your regular viewer and Tesla owner. A colleague, based in UK, has just cancelled a Model Y after unsuccessful attempts to complete online purchase. Found the system dysfunctional, customer service useless. Frustrated and decided to buy a non-Tesla. Sad.
@theevking A colleague, based in UK, just cancelled a Model Y after multiple unsuccessful attempts to complete online purchase. Found the system dysfunctional, customer service useless. Frustrated to a degree that decided to buy another EV. Thought you should know.
@SkyNewsThomas re trip from London to Glasgow everything you say does not apply to Tesla - there is a good Tesla supercharger network - they talk to cars and they work and they are many. You could mention it.
@hughosmond@JuliaHB1 Russia has lifted most restrictions, life is back to normal and cases continue to fall. Russia has much lower numbers vaccinated than U.K. and far from almost universal vaccination of the vulnerable. It may have had very high infection rate at the peak - we don’t know.
@robertshrimsley I just read your The ideal time not to buy an electric car in the FT from a year ago. I always charge at home from a DOMESTIC 13A socket. It is fine. And you buy an ev on a 3-4-year contract/lease, and don’t get stuck with it. You got it all wrong...Like so many
@Tesla buying a model 3 in U.K. , been quite painful, unnecessarily. The last drop - they don’t provide drive away insurance unusually for U.K. but never mentioned it in their almost daily reminders. Tesla site is most dysfunctional. Oooo.
@DanielJHannan Re A trade deal with India is the great Brexit prize that could determine the West’s fate - you should have added equivalence of medical qualifications and visa-free access for doctors. A priceless bonus for healthcare. And why not the same for all professions...
@ProfKarolSikora Excellent letter, Professor Sikora. Keep on going with your effort, the public is fed up with lack of professional competence and confidence in those informing government decisions. Dr Vladimir Gorelov
