Apologies for the silence all, real life got a bit much. We are definitely still doing this thing and I’m e cited about it but start is being pushed to March instead of February.

@t_eyla There is a chance! Discord server is on my list of things to do, I can bump it higher if it would make it easier to track announcements.

The days have it! I have been working on things behind the scenes, and hopefully there will be announcements and more details soon. I think we will likely start in February, and I look forward to some epic vid watching with everyone 🍿

Hello vid friends! For scheduling purposes what works better for you? A fixed date (example: the 28th of every month) or a fixed day (example: third Thursday of every month)

@t_eyla Oh, I didn’t think about that (I’m the opposite). Will think more. We can probably try a few things as well as it gets going to see what works best for everyone balancing reaction/discussion during/after.

I’m wondering if it might be impractical to have discussion space between vids depending on how many we have at a show or if a vid sparks lots of talk. Thoughts on maybe limiting reactions during to emojis, and having a dedicated vid by vid discussion time after the show?

@vidshowcase i think having a little break in between the vids would be nice. it can be hard sometimes to write stuff in the chat while the vid is going, especially if it's fast paced and you're seeing it for the first time, so it'd be cool to have a minute or two afterwards

@findmeinthealps Yeah, definitely noticed that it can get difficult to keep up/comment in real time.

Hello, this is happening! I’d like to start by getting feedback on what you’d most like to have as a vidder or vid-watcher to make the experience the best for you.

@t_eyla Good idea! I don’t want to emphasize deadlines too much (there will, hopefully, always be a next month so it’s a low pressure venue for everything not going to a con), but consistency is good for scheduling and submitting.

@Cassandrexx Discord for live chat during really does seem to work well. I was thinking of possibly having two showings as well geared towards max coverage for accommodating different time zones.
