@vintagemapstore You might like to take into account that the "Saraswati" you mentioned is a mythological river. If you do identify it unequivocally, please let us know. We locals of the area would love being schooled and educated. Thanks.
@vintagemapstore Lol this is more proof than anything that the history of the ancestors of modern day Pakistanis is constantly appropriated by Bharat citizens. Some people cannot help conflate culture, ethnicity and religion.
@vintagemapstore Pakistanis who were previously claiming to be Turkish are trying to claim even this 🤦🏻♂️
The rivers are key but the more important yet overlooked component = domesticated herbivores. Without cattle/camelids it was very hard, almost impossible to build a sophisticated civilization - only exception being Mesoamerica. The Australian speed running of civilization, & domination of outback was mainly due to the introduction of cattle. And is a good showcase of their importance. They relied on Indicine/Zebu cattle that are drought/parasite resistant. In fact, runaways from that period quickly reverted into wild forms (scrub bulls) and now roam the countryside.
@vintagemapstore Pakistanis crying on the comments It is literally indus valley civilistaiom The name india itself derives from indus There was no concept of pakistan vefore 1947 And india was always there no matter how hard you try to deny it
@vintagemapstore Indus Valley Civilization centered in present-day Pakistan 💕
@vintagemapstore Pakistan, a successor to Indus Valley civilisation with almost entirely similar borders.
@vintagemapstore hard to believe other rivers on the same latitude like the Ganges didn't support civilisations....
@vintagemapstore Always ignoring Persia who existed far longer than any other civilization in the area where you all always like to put down “Mesopotamia” 🥲
