NETFLIX H-1B FILINGS: RECORD YEAR While Netflix preps a 5% cut, its H-1B filings just hit an all-time high. 342 LCA filings in FY2026, and that only covers Oct to June. That's the most of any year on record. 2,831 since FY2015. Top role: software developers.
NETFLIX PLANS TO CUT 5% OF STAFF, ABOUT 800 JOBS Puck reports the announcement could come as early as next week, before Q3 earnings on Oct 20. Netflix declined to comment. 5% of the 16,000 full-time staff at the end of 2025 is roughly 800, the largest Netflix cut since 2022.

@CatoInstitute's chart is partial and not comparable. It is inaccurate. State Department nonimmigrant issuances through December 2025 still show the normal F-1 and H-1B cycle, and FY2025 H-1B was roughly flat versus FY2024. The “2.7 times” claim does not match the actual visa data.

4.3 million green cards have been issued to foreign nationals under employment categories since 1992. Nearly all recipients have since naturalized as US citizens, started families, and raised children and grandchildren who are now part of the next generation. Those new generation kids are going to elite universities, taking the top paying jobs, and rising into corporations, government agencies, and the courts. America has yet to see the full impact of this generational shift. There will be many more "Viveks."

Whatever happened yesterday was "nothingburger". The political theater was so loud, but the real world impact is negligible. 85,000 H-1B petitions will still be approved for every coming years. Only those who truly understand the issue can see the difference between political optics and meaningful change.

Americans should pay close attention to how these disgusting freaks operate. Once the threat of their removal becomes imminent, jeets drop the mask and reveal what shameless parasites they are. This creature is incapable of creating value and must gaslight and defraud to survive.
I hope the Indian government immediately takes steps to further ease the switch to more and larger Global Capability Centers for these firms in India. No worries, India and Indians will absorb all this work that American workers cannot perform.
Americans need to pay attention here. This person was allowed to work in America under an H-1B visa, which is a temporary work visa and not intended for immigration. She has somehow made her way into our government and now claiming she represents H-1Bs instead of actual citizens.
