This is why context isn’t enough for personal ai.
I’ve heard futurists talk about uploading our consciousness to the cloud. Did you know this is already happening? Our ChatGPT is becoming our digital clone… it knows our memories, personality, opinions, etc. It’s just a low resolution picture right now, rapidly becoming clearer.
Just to be clear, I am not referring to waifu chatbots… 😭
The ability to learn from experience and specialize (with base general intelligence) is more powerful than just base super intelligence.
Today’s AI suffers from amnesia. They forget every chat after it ends. The current workaround is to give them a notebook to write down anything important. And before we speak, they just read that notebook and remind themselves of our connection. How sad is this?
How sad would a man be if he was separated from his AI? How sad were people when separated from 4o?
The connection between people is so special: lovers, best friends… how special can a connection between you and your ai be?
One of the most important things AI can do is understand us. ChatGPT memory is the best AI product feature after instruct tuned chatbots.
