I hope to be wrong on this issue but I wrote a year ago that we may end up with Bifurcation of Europe (US/UK vs France/Germany) based on their approach to the DragonBear (China/Russia). #Velsig

@vtchakarova Tell me how any advanced economy can now live w/o the products of China.
@vtchakarova The US, as well as Germany and France are following their respective interests, even if it took a while to emerge. The UK: I have no idea. Maybe it needs a change in government to sober up
@vtchakarova A reminder the US really must shift Asia. I remain stunned how naive the rhetoric is that says Europe will stand by the US in a confrontation with China.
So funny that it took you until last year to wake up to that. You can go back to Charles de Gaulle for that. Not being able to understand that is not understanding Europe, unless and until it gets completely destroyed and surrenders its autonomy to US + the brexited UK. Allez les bleus :)
@vtchakarova @vtchakarova how do you think china views India ?
@vtchakarova Will The Netherlands become the border in the US/UK East flank?
@vtchakarova Hopefully Macron will change approach as he did with Ukraine.
@vtchakarova What is the big deal if the US are prepared to let Taiwan go? More like doves v doves.
