@zac_gaming__ You can’t release half a roster, staple on a shit client, allow modern skins, have no classic vfx, no ranked mode, and call it a day. It’s a piece of shit is what it is. It died because it was a shit, half assed product. Not because it was classic.
@LeagueOfLegends You can’t point the finger at the player base and go, “oh yeah, nobody played our half assed mode. Hmm. They must not like it.” Like no shit. I was waiting to jump back in for more content to be added and it to not feel SO half assed.
@LeagueOfLegends I just find it disrespectful the way this project was treated. Please take notes from truly great classic renditions that actually got love and attention, like WoW and OSRS. Those are true tributes to classic and have longstanding player bases because of it.

@JEPBOY_ I think it’s just collateral of it being a stapled on mode. Although I totally agree and really, really hope they keep a PvPvE version for tick queen with exclusive cosmetics like Cryo. That was one of the most addicting grinds in the game for me

Negative energy around this update is weird. If you love Marathon, this should be nothing but good news. Rushing out seasonal updates and supporting the extraction loop is what got us here. Being patient and changing might be the one thing that keeps Marathon for years to come.
