Opinion: Republicans are testing messages to reverse their suburban slide, and education is a winner wapo.st/2ZjAWfB
@washingtonpost If by “education” they mean leaning into white fear that some parents somewhere might have to explain to their kids why white folks did bad things in the past.. then let’s not call that “education” but purposeful ignorance
@washingtonpost Yeah once again WAPO’s ridiculous opinion column writers think THEY know what’s going on… so happy to have dropped my subscription. It’s been rubbish since Buzzbee came on as Editor
@washingtonpost Wrong🛑 Suburban parents want their children safe.
@washingtonpost They won't even protect their children, or pay for the supplies students need. Hundreds of thousands of teachers will attest to that. They often have to buy students supplies! Keep them safe, and then you can pretend to care about education - which you're so fond of defunding.
@washingtonpost Sounds more like the opposite of education to me
@washingtonpost Right. Opposing masks in schools to protect children's health, and censoring out any reference to 200+ years of racism from the curriculum, certainly makes you the education party.
@washingtonpost A real concern. Dems need to create a much stronger marketing plan and put it into action NOW. There is no excuse for Biden’s drop in the polls other than really poor messaging as he’s been a much more effective President.
@washingtonpost I think you meant to say “insurrectionists”.
