@washingtonpost Is the median age of first-time homebuyers climbing to 36 part of "Bidenomics?" Bidenomics gave us 7.0% inflation in 2021 and 6.5% in 2022, the highest in 40 years. It also gave us high interest rates, as "better late than never" Fed Chair Powell tried to tamp down inflation.

@washingtonpost Prices, high interest rates and low wages are keeping them from being able to buy a home!!! A family of 4 with both parents working full-time can pay thousands in rent, but are denied a mortgage loan because they don't qualify??? Banks are ridiculous!!!!

@washingtonpost The outrageous asking prices are the main issue. My interest rate in 1986 was 9% for conventional 30 year - my brothers a couple of years later 13%
