So cool to now see Claude reading my comments in Tonen and starts fixing things while I leave feedback throughout the project. And not unimportant; the builders of the project now wear hard hats!

The name of this app is Tonen (Dutch for ‘to show’), after connecting to its mcp you can just ask Claude to add the Tonen comment layer and get a share link. People can comment on your running build like they would on a design file. Comments are pinned to html elements.

@OnSidecourt Yes indeed. They are attached to the element you commented on and it scrolls with page and stay pinned when responsive layout changes. Want to try it out when It’s ready?

As design moves from static files straight into code, I miss one thing: comments/feedback right on the designs. I thought I’d build this tool for myself to allow co-workers and clients to comment directly on a running prototype, just like in a design file.

@ramseylourens When you install the mcp to Claude or Codex you can simply ask it to add a commenting layer and a share link on top of your prototype. When you share that link with people they can comment on your running live prototype in the browser just like how they would in a design file.

@japborst We just made it back. We went roughly from Larvik to Geilo to Kaupanger to Voss and then Hovden and took the Ferry back from Kristiansand. It was quite the adventure! Two flat tires, air in the brakelines and a missing suspension bolt 🙈. But we made it! 💪

@Robscholten_ It’s super bumpy, super slow, shifting gears is like stirring porridge and yet it puts the biggest smile on my face and on everyone we pass. Talking about design, it’s pretty impressive how a simple tin box on wheels can evoke so much emotion in so many different people.

Yesssss! After 9 months we finally picked up Bennie, our restored 1970 VW T2a. Just in time for our road trip to Norway.

Bennie Bus is almost here. The photo on the right was 9 months ago. The one on the left is today. Turns out restoring a VW bus takes about as long as having a baby.
