QMS (Quantum Monetary System) is a Layer-1 built for the post-quantum era.
Most chains treat quantum computers only as a threat: signatures can break, and funds can be stolen. QMS is designed the other way around. Its consensus does not rely on signatures, so the consensus layer is quantum-resistant from day one. A separate finality layer uses post-quantum signatures, and the execution layer stays EVM-compatible.
The interesting part is proof-of-useful-work. Instead of burning energy on hashes that get thrown away, miners run solvers on real optimization problems — logistics, portfolio optimization, vehicle routing, and other QUBO-style tasks. Clients post jobs to an on-chain marketplace and pay for good solutions. Miners earn block rewards plus client fees for the same work. You do not need a quantum computer to mine; classical hardware works today, and quantum hardware can take a larger share of client payments as it improves.
QMS v0.1 is already on testnet. I joined the waitlist and claimed my Identity Pass:

This is a sharp observation. Most “multi-agent” work still treats coordination as a prompt-and-orchestrator problem: a central planner, a message bus, a shared scratchpad. Flower’s piece points at the next layer — once swarms run long enough, they invent their own indexes, mailboxes, status boards, and shorthand. That is no longer orchestration. It is a living corpus that needs incremental views, hybrid search, and a store that can be compiled to the workload instead of planned at query time.
The Interfold reply is the interesting half. A shared SQLite (or Bog) works while every agent sits inside one trust domain. The moment coordination crosses org, data, or incentive boundaries, the database itself becomes a governance object: who can write, who can read which view, what is revealed vs. what is only proven. Confidential coordination infrastructure is what you need when agents must compute together without pooling raw state.
The stack that wins will treat “agent memory / swarm index” as first-class infrastructure — local, incrementally maintained, and able to participate in encrypted or threshold protocols when the swarm is no longer a single team.
@theInterfold Receipt-free secret ballots tallied inside an E3, then executed through Aragon OSx, is a meaningful step past “transparent voting or trusted operator.” Watching the first IPP closely.
