The @coolcats floor moved up a bit yesterday from around 0.9Ξ to 1.05Ξ (+16%) upon a 20-cat sweep. After the pre-@moonbirds acquisition price action got so much attention, some have asked the (reasonable) question — 🧐Is someone insider trading at Cool Cats?🤔 The answer: Nope. The buyer this time was @jeffreygwei, founder of @TheWeb3Game and an OG gaming investor & advisor who started off in SEO & copywriting before plunging into crypto & blockchain as a community builder. (Cats & Wolves holders — go give him a warm welcome!) His purchase wasn't only limited to Cool Cats either — in the same shopping spree, he picked up 20 @visitsugartown Oras and also 20 @play_ember Embys, which are both gaming-focused projects backed by reputable mobile gaming studios. It's probably an important note that PlayEmber has an upcoming mobile game with Cool Cats coming up, and perhaps the strong products that PlayEmber has delivered lately was a factor into bolstering Jeffrey's conviction to pick up a litter of 20 Cats (or maybe it was his friend and staunch Cool Cats advocate @blueprome's constant shilling). To my knowledge, there are no big announcements regarding releases or acquisitions that are imminent on the horizon for Cool Cats; thus there are no catalysts for anyone, even those in the know, to execute any sort of insider trading. The recent thesis for a short-term bet on Cool Cats within the general consensus has been: if @pudgypenguins & @doodles have been doing well in terms of floor price recently, then it stands to reason that it will float the boat of "cute collection" Cool Cats as well. Urgent PSA for Ordinals collectors Someone has been conducting a relatively high-profile scam using Discord and OTC. It's relatively simple - they add you as a friend on Discord using an alt account. If you accept, they wait dormant as your friend for a few weeks and then change their username to someone more reputable and attempt to negotiate an OTC deal with you. They have been targeting whales and holders of blue chips. To protect yourself, go to Discord Preferences > Developer Mode > Turn it "On". This will let you view their Discord ID, a string of numbers they are unable to change. Take the time to comb through your Discord friends list and prune anyone you don't recognize. If you want to take it a step further, right click all of your friends' usernames one by one, select "CopyID" (not visible without Developer Mode being turned On) and go to mutual Discord servers where you expect to know these friends from. Search the server for them and vet their messages/Discord roles and compare their ID to the real users to see if they match. Block them if they do not match. Be safe out there 🫡
