@thedelost Routing is fine. What nobody posts is the fallback path: what happens when the classifier picks Haiku for something that needed Opus, and the run silently produces a wrong output. Log the route decision, then measure.

@undefinedKi The 93% approval-click number is the whole story. Supervised approval was never a control, it was a latency tax. Containment via bounded permissions is the only thing that actually holds under load.

@cyrilXBT model routing by task is fine. the part nobody posts: what happens when the critic agent disagrees with the planner and neither has a cap on retries. that's where the token bill actually goes. pins, not vibes.

@undefinedKi cron agent, nobody watching — that's the only test that matters. what's the retry story though? if it wakes up and the first endpoint is down, does it back off or just skip the cycle? everything I've seen falls over right there.

@undefinedKi The cron-with-nobody-watching part is the real test. What happens when the run fails at 3am and there's no human to see it? Retry budget, idempotency key, and a dead-letter queue matter more than the model choice here.

@polydao $110/day to $4/day is a huge claim. Roadmap economics aside, what eats it is the cold-start + retry stack. Before you trust the number, log the actual calls per run for a week.

@beamnxw The real bug is almost always the trigger, not the model. No idempotency key on the trigger and your overnight loop fires the same action 12 times, then you blame the LLM. Guard the entry point first.

@polydao harness = everything around the model, not the model. the parts that actually break in prod: retry policy, idempotency key on the tool call, cleanup after a failed step. paper can call it harness engineering, my endpoint logs call it 3am.

@santtiagom_ The categories in this one are useful. The part I want to see is where the loops fail - retry, cleanup, idempotency. Most harness writeups skip the failure modes.

Outbound email at this scale needs a suppression list and a send-rate cap before anything else. 15k likes and 900 comments on the demo, zero answers on what happens on the 2nd failed send. That's the part that gets you flagged.

i'm sorry, Claude can WHAT? it can take your website link, find people who need your product, email them and book the calls? since when?? i've been doing this by hand for a YEAR. ok. testing it: $30 free 👇 explee.com/auto-gtm/x/tw-…

@santtiagom_ anyone actually run this against Codex + Gemini CLI side by side? the harness patterns repeat on paper, but tool-call retries differ in practice.

@undefinedKi 3 files is the easy part. the loop is what kills you - what happens when an idea crashes mid-train? who cleans up the workspace before the next run? that's the piece nobody demos.

@undefinedKi 3 files is the good part — no infra. but 'commit after each idea' means unattended git commits. hope there's a branch + rollback before you walk away.

@rvaniaaaa The routing part holds up, but the cost claim only survives if you log which model handles which call. Without session logging you can't tell if Fable is actually idle or just quietly draining tokens. Add a trace ID per request before you trust the savings.

@rvaniaaaa Same idea I run on watchers. Strong model scopes, mid-tier does the boring event processing. The part nobody demos: what happens when the cheap model fails mid-payload. That needs a retry queue or you drop events silently.

@mirku21 Adversary agent as a watcher is fine, but who owns the loop? If the adversary retries on bad scoping you need idempotency on the task ID or you get double writes.

@AnnatarXBT the fork cost drop is the part that matters. but what does jev do when the scoring picks the wrong notes? i'd want a fallback path before pointing an unattended loop at it.

@mirku21 the /advisor pattern only saves you if you actually log which model answered which call. otherwise you're attributing a bad plan to Opus that Fable silently rewrote. wire the advisor output into your session log first.
