After reading through the 33-page term sheet for the Chiefs' new stadium in Kansas, I think it's one of the most lopsided stadium deals in NFL history. Kansas is essentially giving the Chiefs $3 billion (stadium funding + mixed-use development funding + tax incentives), yet getting virtually nothing in return. The Chiefs get to keep 100% of the revenue from all stadium activities, including ticket sales, concessions, sponsorships, naming rights deals, personal seat licenses, and more. That applies to NFL games and all other events (concerts, basketball games, etc.). Kansas will own the stadium, with the Chiefs paying $7 million in rent annually. But that money doesn't go back to the state; it goes into an account the Chiefs can use for renovations, repairs, and operational expenses. That means the Chiefs can use their own rent money to hire stadium security, parking staff, and concession vendors throughout the season. I know Kansas had to offer a great deal to get the Chiefs to leave Arrowhead, but this is worse than I expected. Here's a full breakdown of everything I found in the term sheet: huddleup.substack.com/p/the-kansas-c…

They don’t make loyalty like they used to. 🤣😉 Thank you @newheightshow and @JasonKelce and @tkelce what y’all do… it’s bigger than just a podcast and won’t fit in a tweet. Thank you.

@EmmanuelAcho 1.) Legit question: do you ever sleep? 🤣🤣🤣 I feel like you always on friend! 2.) As a Chiefs Fan I don’t like what Juju did. And if we’d been given the penalty I would’ve been alright with it. BUT - handle it then and there Branch. I’m a fan of leaving it on the field.

Also, @espn I have in fact been practicing my commentator voice. And am the daughter of one. So I could do this. When you’re ready, have your people call my people. And by that I mean, call me! 🩷🩷🩷

@espn if you’re going to air the post season equestrian events for conference match ups, you should have commentators so that new viewers understand/learn. I’d love to do the western events for you! Congratulations to @OSUEquestrian on your conference championship!

I wish the @TheView table would allow @Alyssafarah the same respect that she gives them more often. An incredibly wise and intelligent woman, just like all of them are, deserves to be heard too. She often times gets steam rolled and spoken over. I want to hear her too please.

Theres nothing worse than decisions you’ve made in the past both out of ignorance and survival are held against you in a season of growth and overcoming… by people who are supposed to be your safest space.

Me casually at 11:45 on a Sunday for no reason… sobbing cause I’m terrified I’m gonna be on my own for the rest of my life. There’s nothing wrong with being a strong independent woman… but dang… those moments alone in the quiet where you break are gut wrenching… #IllBeOk

@kittygang_4ever But it’s accurate? For you to say it’s not is more cowardly and uneducated. OUR ENTIRE SYSTEM fails to serve the people it is supposed to protect. And both Dems and Reps have contributed to the disaster that we’re living in today.
