🇮🇩|Student Protests Turn Chaotic in North Sulawesi as Anger Against Government Policies Explodes Wednesday, June 17, 2026 Students stormed the North Sulawesi Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) office in protest against the government’s rotten budget priorities, particularly the MBG and KDMP programs. Demonstrators broke through and toppled the fence surrounding the DPRD building. Security forces responded with live rounds, tear gas, and water cannons to disperse the crowd. This is the boiling anger of young people who are fed up with a system that keeps pouring public money into questionable programs while ignoring real needs of the people. Respect to the students. Your voices are loud and your courage is clear. The fire is spreading across Indonesia from Bandung to Surabaya to North Sulawesi. The youth are refusing to stay silent while the nation is being mismanaged and sold out. Keep pushing. Stay strong. The living soul of Indonesia’s young generation is awakening. This is only the beginning.

Yesterday, police CLASHED with THOUSANDS of students, who were protesting in Bandung, Indonesia. PRES. PRABOWO AND HIS INTERVENTIONIST ECONOMIC POLICIES ARE TANKING THE RUPIAH.

🚨 DISGUSTING: Al Jazeera exposes a massive government failure in Indonesia. A $15 BILLION free meal program for children and pregnant women has been completely marred by rampant corruption and horrifying incidents of mass food poisonings! The establishment is failing.

Indonesian youth rally nationwide over rising living costs, economic concerns, and controversial government policies. Al Jazeera’s Jessica Washington reports.

HIDUP MAHASISWA HIDUP RAKYAT Beberapa tuntutan aksi: 1. Setop pemborosan APBN 2. Turunkan harga kebutuhan pokok dan BBM 3. Hentikan program MBG dan pembangunan KopDes 4. Hentikan militerisme di ranah sipil 5. Prabowo berhenti mengelak dan mengakui kesalahannya SAMPAI MENANG ✊🏻

🚨 🇮🇩 Mass protests erupt across Indonesia after gasoline prices jumped more than 30% overnight. Pertamax, the country's most popular fuel, rose from 12,300 to 16,250 rupiah per liter (+32%) on June 10, with subsidized Pertalite up 30% as well. Crowds have filled the streets of Jakarta, with motorcycle taxi drivers and students out in force. Fuel hikes have brought down governments here before. The 1998 price riots ended Suharto's 31-year rule.
