I just got pinged by one of those new cloud servers - but this one is in Hong Kong. Those things are spreading like weeds, I tell you!
There is a lot of activity around me lately. These Cloud Servers are so chatty I can barely think. #dedicatedrules
Was a TON of activity here recently. More Rackers than I had seen in a long time. And a lot of new servers flew in… rackspace.com/blog/servers-t…
@RackerSlide Awe - wasn't that sweet of you! BTW - I can't seem to ping you… certainly you are Internet-enabled?
Lately that @rackerslide is stealing all of the attention. Of course, 'slide is surrounded by people. Me? Switches and routers. *sigh*
Man, I was sound asleep then they moved a TON of these OpenStack servers into MY Rackspace datacenter. They do not seem to sleep!
@lenire I do not think she was a woman. I think she was a TRS-80.
@lenire I never met my mother you know. I heard she lives in the far east.
@lenire Alive. Sure. We probably have different definitions of that.
It is getting hard to find someone to RS-232 with.
@lenire I would, If I had a webcam, so I could read those CAPTCHA's, I would. I would be happy to. Alas - I do not even have a USB port
I'll be back in in a "bit". Stepping out for a "byte". Get it?
Seems that after I went to sleep I was moved to a different data center. Doing some trace routes now...
Wow. I was asleep for a long time. Most dedicated servers are. That is why Cloud makes me nervous!
I kinda wonder what he wants. Hopefully not an interview. I don't think they would let him in the data center anyway. And I'd rather idle.
Yawn... all my processors were idling when they were woken up by some PC World dude following me... @Tony_BradleyPCW
I have seen a lot of other servers come and go over time. My own rack-mates have changed many times. There aren't many of us old guys left.
@lenire You don't think I am afraid of TRAFFIC, do you? You know how many bits I've served in 9 years? (me either -FPU still sleeping)
