@KT_Carlisle I have very specific bands or albums I can listen to while I write. It's like each of my WIPs have a very specific sound I can vibe and write with but I rarely listen to music while I write. It can help when I get stuck some times.

I am still working through my rewrite. 23k into it and it's going well. Much stronger story telling.

I wrote like 4k words in the past two days. It feels so great to be writing again. I was sick and uninspired for almost 2 weeks.

I haven't updated in a minute. I am awaiting some developmental edits and alpha feedback (yeah, I went for both). I am probably going to have the cover done soon which is far sooner than I anticipated. Hopefully I will have a solid timeline for publishing by the end of the year.

@AFeranmi51972 Thank you! 😊 I am working on a fantasy story with a major romance subplot.

@Tiff_Germain I do ARC reads. I started a bookstagram account and signed up for one from an author I enjoyed. I do them pretty regularly now, about one a month. I had no idea I could sign up for something like that.

I like reading Camilla Evergreen. I definitely see how some people would not enjoy it, but it's pretty fun dysfunctional chaos. Usually hilarious to me with my darker humor.

I am loving The Pendragon Cycle books. Historical meets fantasy meets faith and it's an Arthurian story. There is nothing to dislike about this series.

@NinaPanickssery My kids are blessed with two sets of grandparents who clamor to watch them. I also only work part-time so its only a few hours three days a week they even baby sit. Growing up, our grandparents passed fairly early so we were in preschool and with friends of the family.

@Strangeland_Elf Honestly everything we see online is fed to us by an algorithm and it isn't trying to give anyone warm fuzzy feelings about anything. So yes, we should be less reckless in our speech, but even then, you will be fed the negative by the algorithm regardless of what good is said.

@AndrewFlynn766 Hi! It's a no-spice Romantasy. It's probably going to be around 130k. I do have some editors I am considering, but I will keep you in mind. Thanks for reaching out.

I am getting close to finishing my book, or well, this draft of it and I am excited. I might be the year I finally need alpha and/or beta readers. And an editor. Definitely an editor.
