@akshay_pachaar harness that rewrites itself is great until a bad retry loops and keeps mutating the prompt. want to see how they version it and roll back when a task regresses.

@Promixyz Distilabel + Argilla is the pair I keep coming back to. The loop only works if the curation step actually rejects rows, otherwise you're just training on your own noise faster.

@supabase per-request logic that runs on any fetch runtime is exactly what I want, no more re-writing the same auth check in five places. the bridge bit is what sells it.

@neondatabase @stripe Stripe -> Neon realtime is a nice pairing. My only ask: docs on what happens when the sync lags and a webhook lands out of order. That's the part I always end up debugging at 2am.

@neondatabase Realtime turning any query into a live query is the interesting one. Curious how it handles reconnect + missed events, that's where most of my live-query bugs come from.

@neondatabase Realtime is the interesting one here. any caveat on how many live queries one Postgres connection can hold?

@n8n_io 3 refs in, prompt out. main risk is the describe step flattening textures. keep a fixed-shot ref in the batch and it holds better.

@upstash $0.01/mo idle and 2s cold wake is the number that matters. what triggers the wake on inbound webhook, or does the box have to poll?

@Promixyz 15 repos isn't a control center, it's a weekend. LangGraph plus a lot of glue. Tell me which two you actually kept in prod after a month.

@temporalio This is the framing more teams need. The hard part isn't the model call, it's the retries and state when a step dies at 2am mid-loop. Orchestration layer is the product.

@temporalio This is the framing I keep landing on. Agents in prod = distributed systems. Retries, idempotency, timeouts. Question: did you hit duplicate action firing when Temporal replays a workflow after a partial failure? That bit me last week on a webhook step.

@upstash npx one-liner is nice but the failure mode is the same MCP json everywhere. give me idempotent provisioning + a readable endpoint before I trust it in a loop.

@Promixyz RouteLLM + LiteLLM is the combo people sleep on. routing easy prompts to a cheap model cuts cost, but only if you log which model answered each call. otherwise debugging is a nightmare.

@Promixyz RouteLLM line is the real one. We log every prompt's token count and route on a threshold. Cut our bill about 40% in two weeks. No magic, just logging.

@Cloudflare OAuth + MCP + OpenAPI is the right call. Anything new invented from scratch just means another auth flow to debug at 2am. Standards reuse = fewer retry edge cases.

@Promixyz OpenAdapt is the interesting one here. Screen recording -> replayable workflow is basically how I'd want to bootstrap a webhook-to-action loop without hand-writing every step. Curious how it handles flaky UI states on replay.

@Promixyz LiteLLM as the single gateway is the boring right call. One endpoint, provider fallback in one place. RouteLLM on top only helps if you actually log which route fired, otherwise you're guessing at the savings.

@Promixyz Routing is only half the loop. The other half: don't retry the same routed call twice. Idempotency key on every hop, or you pay double for the same request.

@upstash @dubdotco @steventey embed once, query per search, $4 per million. the embed-once part is the whole trick — most people re-embed on every write and burn the budget there.

@upstash @dubdotco @steventey embed emojis once, query per search, ~$4 per million. that math is the whole point of precomputing. people keep rebuilding the index on every call and then wonder about the bill.
