WoW Cluster @wowcluster

My computer is fried. Replacement notebook is shitty, won't even run WoW. Damn! I desperately need a new machine.

Refining the UI. Made some mistakes in the initial design, causing problems now.

Making a list of stuff that needs to be done before I can open registration for first testers. Not too long but there are some tricky parts.

Testing, testing... My Twitter and Facebook account should be connected now.

Thinking about making a video with preview of what WoW Cluster does.

Rewrite of code for adding character from Armory data is complete. Now I can finally tune the UI for this action.

Working on better UI for adding characters. Copy/paste of Armory URL was fine for internal testing, but real users deserve something better.

Homepage updated. Now it's more than just placeholder. Check it out at http://wow-cluster.com

The system messages on WoW Cluster are too subtle. Even I overlook them! Have to make their colors more saturated.

Starting to prepare the web for alpha preview.

It's interesting to see how many different types of relationsips there can be between Character and Item.

Damn this UI work takes longer than expected. But better do it now than losing time later. BTW input field for price in gold is very tricky.

Really looking forward to Patch 3.2 changes. Especialy the mount at lvl 20. Yay!

Have to think through some UI elements. Data is getting connected and I'm getting lost.

http://twitpic.com/9dk4p - Finally! Now I can start working on real features.

To get profession needed to craft an item from Armory, you have to send three requests and parse them. Insane. And slooow.

I'm not going to crack it tonight. Caching of items will have to wait.

When craftable item is first called, I need to call Armory few times (to get reagents and their info). This is going to be hell to optimize.

Armory is sooo slow. Loading items takes too long. I will have to find out smarter way to get the data and cache them.

Screw you, Internet Explorer 6. I'm not going to support you. It's just not worth the trouble.
