Why isn’t an opt out in this MD case a good deal? Every time I see those opposed they argue like the literature is going to be banned. No. Parents just get to opt their kids out. Now on this particular issue when large numbers of parents are opting out, it says something.

A problem people have is they equate the calling out of sin and the defense of biblical morality as being unforgiving. Sin is still sin. We are all forgiving something when we forgive. What is that? Sin. We should be gracious and loving. We should also stand for biblical truth.

I think many egalitarians makes much of ambiguous things that if read their way will bolster their cause while downplaying clear passages that hinder their objective. This is poor biblical scholarship. We cannot approach the text with an objective.

Theological Positions Orthodoxy - If not believed you treat them as lost. Distinctive - Who you go to church with and possibly your denomination Conviction - strong beliefs but not something to break church fellowship over. Opinion - Everything else. Usually lightly held views.
