That tie lasted one play. Jet sweep by freshman Earnest Winters goes 80 yards for a TD and 22-14 Cahokia lead with 2:12 left in the half. One missed tackle and out of there. That kid has some serious wheels.

SIU's 2-1 soccer win tonight over Evansville at home might be its best victory of the year. Salukis (8-1-2, 2-0-0) conceded the first goal, responded 90 seconds later and then won it in the 2nd half via Londyn Soto's goal. The regal canines visit Illinois State at 1 p.m. Sunday.
