@mind_worm_ What does consistent mean anyway when talking about a car? The result of a constipation is consistent, how does that apply to a car? I don't get it

@KiwiEV It's a stunning looking car inside and outside, but underneath it's not that impressive sadly...

Stumbled across this vintage Winston ad while browsing old HiFi catalogs. Guys were tough back in 1984.

@youwillmakemaps This vibe reminds me of VFD displays, can't get enough of their light and ambiance

More false colorisation experiments, this time Horsehead nebula, attempting to stitch together several frames. This is just eye candy, nothing scientific.

Such a shame VFD displays went away. I can't get over it, they have such a nice vibe.

@therealcarlin Not good news! I was hoping there were solid US PCB mfgs, something like SendCutSend for PCBs. I can't take the endless JLCPCB sponsorships on YouTube anymore. It's especially weird seeing US creators promote Chinese manufacturing just to get a small hobby project made.

I own a 3D printer and honestly can't recommend buying one just to have at home and print trinkets or airplanes. It's a specialized tool, not a household appliance. Great for prototyping at a mfg company, and occasional repairs, but otherwise hard to justify the cost. Change my mind!
