Or can anyone recommend YA fantasies with a mix of youth and adult protagonists I can read to compare my WIP to?

I'm in the 2nd draft of my novel and I feel like it doesnt have the same level of tragedy as many current fantasies. I'm wondering if it's more similar to a young adult genre. There is a teen as one of the protagonists. Can anyone recommend fantasies that are less violent/tragic
