Again, accusations of LTIR "cheating" are not about faking injuries. They're about players being healthy enough to play in Game 82 who don't play until playoffs' Game 1. There are easy fixes for this loophole. But GMs don't want to fix something they might one day benefit from.
@wyshynski Concussions aren’t fair to label as what the knights do with Stone every year. A knee or shoulder injury likely has a prognosis for recovery. Concussions are unique. Absolutely unfair to call Chytil returning as cheating.
@wyshynski When did the NHL become completely devoid of any honour or integrity?
@wyshynski Honestly try to tell us again why the NHL isnt a joke of a league
@wyshynski I still believe a simple fix is: every team you suit up for a game must collectively be under the cap. Eliminates gaming the system
@wyshynski Greg, there's a lot about the NHL/hockey that I don't agree with you on...but this right here...you are spot on.
@wyshynski by letter of the law the "kucherov maneuver" is legal if people dont like it change the rule but as you said GMs dont want to
@wyshynski It would not be tolerated if Edmonton did this
@wyshynski What happens if someone is healthy for game 82 and the league days they’re good to go, but the team can’t fit them under the cap? Like Stone for instance. If he happened to come back in regular season then what? Would he be ineligible for playoffs?
