Twin hold to Karak Varn, Zhufbar (Khazalid for "Torrent-gate") is the hold where the metals, Gromril in particular, mined out from beneath Karak Varn are smelted and forged into the weapons and armour which make the Dwarfs famous. The most mechanized of all dwarven strongholds!

Last Friday I was supposed to be away for the whole weekend, on my yearly #TTRPG trip. Lots of dice rolling, exploring the lost hold of Karak Azgal and, of course, barbecue. Sadly, due to some sudden family drama, I had to cancel at the last second. Oh well, maybe next year...🤷‍♂️

Karak Kadrin, which means "Hold of the Mountain Pass" in Khazalid, also known as Slayers Keep, is a Dwarf stronghold which guards a region of mountainous passes known as Peak Pass, a trading route which runs through the Worlds Edge Mountains from the Far East to the Old World.⛰️
