"I'm voting Yes, and I'm asking that all Australians do too."
@yes23au It's a simple and modest proposal — but it makes closing the gap possible. I want Indigenous children to be able to look forward to the same opportunities, outcomes and life expectancy as everyone else. A small ask and an easy answer — YES ❤️
@yes23au Very obviously not racing anymore, so trying to remain relevant in other ways. I wasn’t impressed with your flag waiving at the olympics, so def not gonna take any notice of you now. A big NO from me
@yes23au The vast majority of Australians are happy to say yes to authentically better assisting our underprivileged First Nation cousins. But there’s a lot of us that are very concerned, or confused, with the terms and structure of the “voice”. Therefore we are choosing to say no.
@yes23au No to dividing Australia by Race. No to allocating Rights by Race. No to 97% of Australians becoming Second Class Citizens in their own Country. Big No to the Racist Voice.
@yes23au Looks like the NO's have it though Cathy.
Literally and I like Cathy I really do BUT what she said in this entire advertisement is NOT what the ‘Voice’ is… all Cathy did was okay the emotional card into why you should Vote yes but not the actual details into why.. give us reasons, facts, details because we have none of that, stop guilt tripping people, Australians are sick of it and this is why I #VoteNo like so many others. We’ve had enough of the emotional blackmail and if you can’t provide all the details, all the facts in an open dialogue then forget it, Australians will push back.
@yes23au We've had: singers, actors, musicians, comedians, soap stars, washed-up politicians, concussed footballers, rugby players, dancers, acrobats, jesters, graffiti artists....so I suppose an Olympian was inevitable. Just remember: these people are not experts. #VoteNoToDivision
