This is great news and a smart move by OpenAI. They need to get their model lineup in order. Luna should've always been their Haiku, Terra their Sonnet, Sol their Opus, and Astra their direct competitor to Fable. Downgrading Sol's position was a mistake. A major Terra upgrade could be exactly what they need to get things back on track.

@rezoundous I think you're overreacting a bit. Either something is seriously wrong with your Codex setup, or you're just a Claude fanboy. I use both, love both, and honestly haven't experienced anything close to what you're describing. I'm on the $100 plan for both, by the way.

@MSFTCopilot I can see Claude and GPT inside Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, but why is model choice completely missing from Copilot Chat? We’re locked into only GPT-5.6 there. For what we pay for a premium subscription, we shouldn’t be restricted in the main chat experience.

Why aren't these models rolling out to personal/individual Premium plans? We're limited to just GPT-5.6 (undoubtedly a great model, but we deserve access to the other options too), even while paying for a subscription that isn't cheap. It feels like individual subscribers are being overlooked.

@thsottiaux Weekly limits are definitely better; I've used fewer tokens because I've been able to finish my tasks instead of having to redo them within a short period of time. When I finish my tasks, I haven't had to go back to Codex while I plan what's next.
