if any person plays music or game sounds out of their phone or device (without headphones) on a plane they should be summarily ejected from the plane mid-flight, no questions asked imho violence (sudden death) is the only fair solution to such insane, barbaric behavior

longstanding life goal is to build one of these natural swimming pools on my property prob ~$50-75k if you go DIY route. companies charge exorbitant amounts to build them ($200k+) 100% rain fed, haven for wild life, beautiful, no chemicals, more resilient ecosytem

In 20 years the US increased its use of glyphosate by ~50x. 50!! It is increasingly difficult to ignore the correlation between industrial agriculture's widespread herbicide adoption & America's ongoing health crisis

It’s hard to ignore the correlation between the increase in farm size and the increase in chemical usage. 50 acres feels like home in a way that 1000 never will, and people don’t willingly poison their homes.

the hilarious thing about all the trad life accounts is none of them have actually lived on farms or land before. Just beautiful images of woman milking cows or frolicking in wildflowers in la la land. Pretty unhelpful, but the back to the land porn never loses its appeal
