culture is very simple to define it's who you hire, who you promote, and who you fire

@zebulgar What I'm interested in re: company culture is *how* to break implied tradeoffs -- e.g., high-intensity w/o assholery, long-term optimism w/o buzzwords & hype, bias to action w/o sloppiness, ... Generally defined within operating principles.
@zebulgar Beyond these 3 pillars, culture is heavily influenced by leadership, company mission, vision, purpose, respect, camaraderie and is the most powerful weapon against attrition that many companies take for granted. Way more to it than meets the eye.
