Someone turned a physics textbook into a 3D book you can play with. The whole GCSE energy topic, built with Opus 5.5 and Three.js. Every lesson runs one loop: predict, test, prove. That loop is the real idea. A diagram hands you the answer. A model lets you guess wrong first, then shows you why. So I tried it on one page ↓ a pencil sketch stands up, the ball rolls, and the tubes show where the energy goes. Textbooks were flat because paper was flat. which subject should get this next?
Nine more lessons from my 3D book about energy, now covering the whole GCSE energy topic: kinetic, gravitational and elastic energy, heating, power, efficiency, energy resources and conservation of energy. Built with Opus 5.5 and Three.js. The full book ↓
You've used a key every day of your life. Here's what actually happens inside the lock ↓ Wrong key: two pins stick across the line. Nothing turns. Right key: every gap lands on one line. Click. Elvar's guide turns any question like this into a machine you can click through, with one free Claude skill. Nobody skips a button. what everyday thing should I open up next?
@WorkFarOfficial agreed, context that sticks around helps a lot. half the thinking goes into re-reading stuff it already knew
Nobody tells you this about AI pricing: the smarter the model, the longer it thinks. and you pay for every second of it. Everyone compares AI models by price per token. That's the wrong number. The 720K-view showdown below shows why: > Opus 5.5 has cheaper tokens than GPT-6 Astra, but writes far more of them per answer > faster per token doesn't mean it finishes first > so the cheap token quietly turns into the expensive job There's no "best model" anymore. There's a best model for each job: → judgment and long reasoning: pay for the big one → hard science and math: a different big one wins → the boring 90% (sorting, routing, first drafts): a small model does it for pennies The real skill now isn't picking a model. It's routing work between them. And the only number that matters is what it costs to get a result you can actually use, including the time you spend fixing it. paste this into Claude Code ↓ "Run my real task on two models at the effort I'd ship. Track tokens, time, attempts and how long I spend fixing the output. Give me one table: cost per usable result. Show me the plan first. Don't call any API until I say go." follow @0xCortexq for more AI breakdowns like this
@zhangyifk zipper is a great one. all those little teeth locking together would look so good opened up
@elvar_official the 7 year old test is such a good rule. if a kid gets the hint, everyone does
@oliviscusAI robots practicing in a virtual warehouse before they ever touch a real one. wild that this is free
@shmidtqq cheap model reads, big model checks. makes way more sense than running opus on everything
@ryanvogel reviewing on paper actually makes you slow down and read. love this
@WaterrrMiao @HyperFrames_ 11 minutes in about 2 hours is wild. curious how long the script took
@Alacritic_Super search and rescue is the part that gets me. finding someone in a forest with no signal is huge
@0xCodez love that step 2 just says stop there if it's not supported
@Nyxera0x the opus one actually walks like it has weight. big difference
@hqmank the screws going in from the wrong side is the most honest part of this. looks right at a glance, still needs someone who held the real kit
@AnnatarXBT forgetting being the layer nobody builds is so true. memory that never cleans up slowly turns into confident nonsense
@vib3coded the salmon fish ladder is such a nice detail. you can tell it was built to be played with, not just looked at
@exploraX_ following one carbon atom the whole way is such a good idea. kids remember a story way better than a list of organs
@Flinzu the come back empty-handed rule is underrated. a close-looking wrong answer costs way more than "not found"
