So much life in this shot - her dangling right hand as she waits to shoot, you keeping her alive but not stealing focus as the knight does a hilarious fall, her take when he lands... Terrific and paced well and I could watch it 40 times and it would still be funny.

@aalong64 Forgive the rant. I encourage you to trust your instincts. Sitcoms: a difficult medium to master. If you are not liking 3 act structure, by all means, just do Tex Avery - create a situation, jam is as many jokes in as you can. 7 minutes later, done! You are a special talent!

@aalong64 ...John K to give Ren & Stimpy regular jobs, instead of them being like movie comedians -sometimes bricklayers, sometimes plumbers, barbers, whatever. S&TM already have jobs, anyway. And we all saw what happened to Looney Tunes when WB put them in a room with a couch!

@aalong64 ...This formula worked for movie comedians for decades. It was only once Television reared it's ugly head that comedians were nailed to a plot and expected to serve a story instead of serving the audience with humor. The execs at Nick were reportedly trying to get John K...

@aalong64 ...just watching a hockey game and S&TM could still find plenty of trouble to get into. All you need to do is give them a problem, squeeze a few jokes out of it and resolve the problem. And on the last line of the cartoon, give them something to say that concludes it...

@aalong64 If you were writing stories that take 30 minutes to watch (20 min screen time) you'd definitely want a 3 act structure. But you're not doing that. You've never done that. Which is entirely fine, since what you are/have been doing works so well... (1 of a few)

@Danny_Mac3D The community. I worked with C4D for years doing NPR. Very few C4D users were doing NPR. Switched to Blender and there are 1,000s doing NPR, several toon shader plug ins and almost too much info to digest. Blender users want to help, not impress, each other.

@aalong64 Seems to me an indie should always keep their own show going. Having a "real" show on a network is nice for the pocketbook. But a network show will always end. The indie show never has to end. And of course the "real" show helps to promote the indie show. UR inspirational!
