Doc Watson invented the idea of the guitar as a lead instrument in bluegrass. Decades later, Billy Strings carries that torch, and you can hear it here. His cover of Bob Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice” follows Doc’s arrangement, note for note. The flatpicking lineage, alive and well.

You know what's more expensive than $4 a gallon gas? -Paying student loans I never took out -Paying for free food for someone that shouldn't even be here -Paying healthcare for people that jumped the border -Paying for infrastructure in a country I've never been to -Paying for military protection for people that hate us THAT is costing me a Hell of a lot more than $4 gas!!!

@bsimpson40 @20th_Centurygal Another good choice. Like you said, musicians know who he is and what he has done. The fanbois posting here never heard of him.

@AndReese12 @JonRothstein Well, to that point, neither does Scheyer. Both teams are going to get a lot better as the season goes on, but right now it looks like Duke is going to be a monster.

@BlueDevilNation A couple of weeks ago I said I almost feel sorry for anyone trying to guard Rip. He proved my point tonight.

@AndyRathgeber @DadCub1970 @Rainmaker1973 If you look at the back end of the board and the wake at the start you can see the shadow of the stick. Pretty cool, though, and an amazing wave.

Good morning. This video is 15 years old and to this day when I watch it, I rest my chin on my hand so my jaw doesn’t hit the fucking ground. Victor Wooten is not to be trifled with.🐐

@progrocksongs There's very few drum solos that don't get boring pretty quickly. That was definitely one of them! I've been lucky enough to hear Chester in concert a couple of times, and he was absolutely amazing.

@blueridgem_m That is a nice shot, and it brings back some memories! When I was a kid my Dad used to take us camping near the Pisgah fish hatchery that I think is directly behind the rock from this view. Best times.

@Samanth09611221 No one said you have to get the BOLT out without cutting or breaking the damn thing. If at first you don't succeed, get a bigger hammer.
