We make big efforts to connect with friends (especially in these times). But what about those NOT in your cell groups? Who have you (& I) reached out to lately that takes a bit more effort? I’m not necessarily talking about a social action program. #friendship #loneliness Hmm.
We can choose our friends, friendship groups & who we hangout with & that definitely happens at church too! But we don’t get to choose our neighbours, who maybe different from us in lots of ways. How much effort to we put into reaching out to neighbours?
One of the things this pandemic has made me do is, pause & make time to listen to lots of different voices. It’s been great to ‘virtually’ attend other churches - hear new voices. Also join webinars, conferences etc I wouldn’t normally have gone to.
