Vercel deployment summaries now show how big the build cache was and how close it is to the limit for its build machine. Worth checking: uploading the cache is billable build time, and a cache over the limit is discarded, so the next build starts cold.

Claude Code v2.1.310 brings the Monitor tool and plugin monitors to Bedrock, Vertex and Foundry. It also retries without the effort beta value or mid-conversation system messages when a gateway or compatible server rejects them, instead of failing the request.

Cloudflare rebuilt how its cache serves byte-range requests, used for video seeking and resumable downloads. For R2, p99 time to first byte dropped by about half. It's now self-service on all plans as Origin Range Requests: turn it on with a Cache Rule, no range size to tune.
