🚦 As summer winds down, let’s remember: traffic safety is always in season. Stay alert in construction zones and help keep both drivers and crews safe.
Crews are anticipated to excavate the area near the westbound loop on-ramp. Excavation activities involve removing soil and rocks to prepare for the next phase of pile diving. This work is anticipated to occur nightly as early as 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Sept. 22 and Sept. 23.
Improvements on SR-91 are needed between SR-57 and SR-55 to reduce congestion caused by high traffic and limited space for merging. 🛣️
🦺 The Outreach Team visited the Lakeview Avenue interchange to witness the progress on the new Lakeview Avenue bridge and the soundwall along the WB SR-91. This work is being done to accommodate the addition of the SR-55 on-ramp that will be added at Lakeview Avenue.
Through early October, crews will continue pile driving to form the essential foundation work at the SR-91/Lakeview Avenue Interchange. Every step gets us closer to improved traffic flow. Learn more and sign up for weekly construction updates at octa.net/91Construction

Construction is underway - as part of Segment 1, a new on-ramp will be added at Lakeview Avenue to SR-55. To accommodate the new SR-55 on-ramp, crews will realign the straight westbound on-ramp at Lakeview and rebuild the bridge for safer travel and to ease congestion.
