Lots to be happy about this season. - Veterans like KD & Steph are defying the odds. - The young guns in the association don’t look young anymore. Morant, Tatum, Doncic - just a few of many, fighting for the top spot in their positions. Officially a new era.
- Defense is back. Not like the dead ball era, but so much so it makes the game competitive and enjoyable. - Small ball dominates. Word to the Warriors. - The abundance of high-level guards is incredible. Steph, Young, Morant, Doncic, Harden fall into the top category.
But players like Darius Garland, Cole Anthony, Lamelo Ball, Lonzo Ball - and plenty more, are recording all-star caliber performances. - More parity: this isn’t a LeBron vs GS league anymore. GS looks deadly yet again, but title favorites are spread out. As we like.
- The Bulls are back. - A major Lebron fan myself, we are nearing the end of his career. No longer the same kind of athlete but still can compete at a top-5 player level. Seeing this in year 19, sets the bar for players on how to take care of yourself and maximize your career
I would love to see him win another ring before it’s a wrap. Giving a 35/65 chance of happening. - They’re not there just yet: but make no mistake - this will be a league dominated from a play & entertainment point by Anthony Edwards & Lamelo Ball. Generational talents.
