@Carl_M79 If he wasn't an LFC player, our fans would be clamoring to sign him for LW/ST depth. Instead they want him out.

@1nsightty It's wild how many people assume we're going to bench one of the best midfielders in the league. Camara is great, that doesn't mean he's ready to take over for Gravenberch.

@AnfieIdFix Two problems here: -Conflating what players are asked to do with what they can do -Not accounting for possession In the Champions League, Grav covered more distance per 90 than Valverde. Would we say Valverde couldn't fit Iraola's tactics?

@Twiss95 Nobody thought Grav would succeed as a 6 either. Give him a chance. He's more talented than any midfielder Iraola has ever worked with, and adaptable as well.

@fc_mossman Great stuff. Top LFC analysis as always. Thoughts on Andrey Santos as the 6? He seems to be the right mix of profile / experience / market opportunity we look for. And thank you for not relegating Grav to the bench like half of our online fans--can't imagine that happens.

@LFCApproved Could be an intricate conspiracy being plotted. Or maybe, it's a picture of coworkers hanging out.

@anfieldforge We already signed two of those players (Jacquet and Kerkez). Likely another CB incoming. Gakpo at ST is the short-term replacement for Ekitike. Rio will play far more minutes next season. A CM and 1-2 attackers are coming. RB future will depend on how Bradley does.

@LFCApproved Starts at LCB, VVD shifts to RCB for his final season (and doesn't have to play every minute), Jacquet and Leoni have more time to develop. Dramatically improves our buildup without losing much/at all in terms of defending channels and in the box. Also provides extra cover at LB.
