There is a very important side story to this Slotkin thing that no one is talking about. The Trump Administration needs to come out and reassure patriots who want to help their country that if they do so, and these evil Democrats come after them on spurious grounds, that the Trump Administration WILL HAVE THEIR BACKS, both in courts of law and the court of public opinion. The media is in bed with the Democrats on this--the media will smear anyone the Democrats point them at. If the Trump Administration does not make this public pronouncement, and then BACK IT UP, they will find ordinary Americans unwilling to help them. Ordinary Americans have seen the life-destroying lawfare against Trump supporters in the past, and that lawfare has been tremendously effective. In the face of such lawfare and the smears the media will gleefully engage in, too many Americans make the rational choice to not help. The Trump Admin needs to very publicly and very strongly announce that it has the backs of Americans who raise their right hand.

Another thing to understand: these are people who did regime change as a career before USAID was cut. And they were "successful" in many scenarios. These are the literal "CIA coup" people doing the plotting.

Years ago when i worked in the prolife movement I experienced first-hand how leftist groups would come to things in large numbers, often with premade signs and a person in charge who would tell them where to stand and what to do so that they looked large and unified while the prolife people came on their own, out of their own convictions, with their own handmade signs—and stood wherever they wanted to, usually in small clumps of people who knew each other. I would go talk to the leftist side to see where they came from. Once, at a weekday noon rally about Obamacare, a large group was half homeless people and half college kids on a school volunteer program to help the homeless—they’d all be brought on buses from the area of town where the homeless service by a homeless coalition lobbying for more services. I asked some of the college kids if they felt dishonest being there, as they were not local and didn’t know the issue. They said no, they wanted to help and they figured every bit of aid was good.

What’s happening in France, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, all happened in Iran 50 years ago. We’ve been warning you. It’s not too late yet— listen to Iranians.

When Reagan was president we had ~300 U.S. refineries. By the time Trump took office that number had collapsed to ~130 — the direct result of the Democrats’ war on oil & gas and strangulatory regulations. Diesel prices drive inflation. Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries + reduced Persian Gulf crude are creating an inflationary domino effect. Trump’s temporary sanctions waiver is a short-term move to bring diesel in and lower prices for Americans. Long-term we need to refine, baby, refine. @NewsNation @lauraingle @POTUS
