RFK Jr’s closing statement at the Real Debate: “I’m going to stop the surveillance state. I’m going to stop the propagandizing by our agencies of the American public. I’m going to unravel the war machine. I’m going to unravel the corrupt merger of state and corporate power. I know how to do it. I’ve been litigating against these agencies for years, and I’m uniquely suited to do this. I’m going to make sure that our Constitution is protected. I’m going to bring AI and blockchain home because we need these new industries to grow our way out of the debt crisis. This is something that those two aren’t even talking about.” “An entire generation of Americans has lost pride in our country and hope in their own futures. They can’t get into a home, the first generation in history in America that is going to live worse lives than their parents. They see the vitriol that you saw here … that makes them disgusted with politics. They’re seeing the corrupt merger of state and corporate power that has transformed our agencies from the CIA, the health agencies, the environmental agencies into sock puppets for the industries they’re supposed to regulate. They’re seeing the destruction of our soils, the destruction of our air and water. If you want more of the same, you should vote for President Trump or President Biden. You know what’s going to happen. You know that. They’re going to give you four more years of the same stuff. If you want things to completely change, you’re going to support me because I’m going to change everything.”

We all know what to expect from Presidents Biden and Trump on CNN’s debate stage tonight. Arguments, name calling, accusations, and culture war issues– but no debate on most of the subjects that matter to Americans. That’s because Trump and Biden aren’t so different when it comes down to it. Both represent corporations, private equity firms, pharma, and the military-industrial complex - the interests of which determine what they can talk about. The good news is that you can still see the three-man debate. We are hosting an alternative debate where you will hear not only Trump’s and Biden’s answers, but mine as well. Tune in tonight at 6pm PT/ 9pm ET to see the debate as it was meant to be seen, and learn about the election that is really happening--not CNN’s version. therealdebate.com #kennedyshanahan24

The Early Church Christian social project was a unique kind of human community that defied categories. It had at least five elements: *Multi-racial and multi-ethnic *Highly committed to caring for the poor and marginalized *Non-retaliatory, marked by a commitment to forgiveness

I can’t emphasize enough as an older person of faith who has experienced a lot, seen a lot & felt the blow of divine discipline brought on by pride how unwise it is for those who bear Christ’s name to deal unmercifully with people. “Be merciful just as your Father is merciful.”

The average Christian in the world is not male but female, not white but brown or black, third world, not first world, far more Pentecostal than Presbyterian. The “average” Christian in the world today is a 22-year old brown female. She has not been to your conference...

Through my tears, I wrote down some thoughts about how I’m processing George Floyd thegospelcoalition.org/article/george…

.@LVMPD Officer Shay Mikalonis remains in grave condition after he was shot last night. Keep him in your prayers as well as a calmer night tonight. Each night so far has gotten progressively more violent.

Listen. Change happens when we, all of us, say enough is enough.

Mr. President, out of respect for the Office you hold, in the country I love, as a citizen & faith leader, I beseech you to use words that unite, not divide. Use words that dampen the flames of anger, not words that pour gasoline on the anger. Leads us to a better & just future.

This article is phenomenal regarding the role of church in biblical education. You nailed it Spencer! @EternityCollege academic.logos.com/biblical-educa…

If Jesus recued the lives of two, outcast, demon possessed, violent, self harming, Gentiles, over a whole city's economy, then our economy can also suffer for the sake of the most vulnerable among us during this global pandemic. Mat 8:28-34, Mark 5:1-21, Luke 8:26-39 #COVID19

Just your weekly reminder that Jesus is neither republican nor democrat. And He calls his followers to love neighbor and enemy alike. Good night...

Once a man has experienced the mercy of God in his life he will henceforth aspire only to serve his brothers. The proud throne of the judge no longer lures him. He wants to be down below with the lowly and the needy, because that is where God found him. Bonhoeffer

Jesus: "You cannot serve God and money." Matthew 6:24 How do you serve money? By feeling, thinking, and acting to get as much money and it’s pleasures as possible. How do you serve God? By feeling, thinking, and acting to get as much of God and his pleasures as possible.

In a mobile culture such as ours, we lose our friends faster than we can forge them.

If your political allegiance doesn't compel you to love people more--including those of different political persuasions--then you might want to find another political allegiance. I recommend Jesus.
