I’m sat in the only barbers locally which is situated next door to the bookies. Usually, would keep popping in and out. This morning I’m sat waiting and tweeting. I also didn’t bring a wallet. Only bought £8.50 for the cut and paid soon as I got here - they needed change!

Getting totally fed up with the constant gambling adverts on Facebook and Twitter. Previously it would be a new site to sign up to, now it’s just fucking me off. Is there anyway I can stop these appearing? I keep reporting them as inappropriate and / or offensive.

Definitely did not fall in mud taking daughter to the park this afternoon Definitely did not have to strip down to my boxers to not cover the car in mud Definitely was amazing to spend quality time with my daughter - time that I wouldn’t previously of had #GamblingAddiction

So, one of the hardest days for me. Saturday. Taking swimming lessons this morning. Walk with the family before lunch. Helping father in law build a shed this afternoon. Cooking dinner for wife and in-laws. Busy day planned to keep my mind off gambling #GamblingAddiction

I last had a gamble on 7th January 2018. I’ve completed 1 day without a bet, admitted I have a problem, relinquished control of finances, set up this account and spent real time with the family for the first time in... I can’t even recall.

It could be online slots, football, horses, dogs, ANYTHING. At the bookies, down the Casino, a fruity in a pub. Literally anything. I have a problem. I will overcome this. (5/5)

Although I kept having the odd football bet, everything was under control. Since October - I’ve been desperate to get another big win. £100 here, £200 there. It soon adds up. (4/5)

Yesterday I relinquished control of all bank accounts, credit cards, cash - everything. I no longer have access to money needed to gamble. And my fucking god it feels liberating. #GamblingAddict
