Right now I’m focusing more on video editing because of my shoulder injury, but MMA has been a huge part of my life for years. Fighting is what I love, and that’s exactly why I want to focus on working with combat sports creators. I know the sport because I’ve lived it, not just watched it

I’ve been training MMA for a few years now, and I won my semi-pro debut in just 36 seconds. Here are 5 things I’d tell anyone preparing for their first fight: 1. Cardio is everything. You can have the best technique in the world, but once you’re exhausted, none of that really matters. Trust me, 3 minutes in the cage feels nothing like 3 minutes in the gym. 2. Stick to what you know. Don’t try to impress people with some crazy spinning kicks or techniques you barely practiced. Do what you’ve been doing in training. Keep it simple. 3. Control your adrenaline. For my semi-pro debut, I fought in front of 2,500 people. And trust me, the stress before the fight can be worse than the fight itself. Learn to control your nerves. Don’t waste all your energy before you even step into the cage. 4. Don’t chase the knockout. I made this mistake myself. In one of my fights, I was so focused on getting the knockout that I ended up getting knocked out instead. And I know plenty of fighters who’ve learned the same lesson the hard way. Stay patient, stick to your game plan, and let the finish come naturally. 5. Trust your preparation. You’ve spent weeks or months getting ready for this moment. Once you step into that cage, there’s no point overthinking everything. Listen to your corner, trust your training, and just fight. And one last thing, enjoy it.

Been putting in a crazy amount of work behind the scenes lately, and I’ll definitely be sharing some of it in the next few days. A lot of exciting stuff coming. 🚀

@ichelpark Not fully yet haha, I'm still experimenting with that

After years of editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, I’m officially making a BIG change to my editing workflow. 🚀 I’m moving toward a much more AI-powered workflow with Claude Code. And broooo… I genuinely didn’t expect it to be THIS good. 🤯 I’ve spent years learning video editing, motion graphics, sound design, transitions, pacing, and everything that goes into creating high-quality content. Countless hours watching tutorials, experimenting with effects, fixing problems, and figuring out how to bring creative ideas to life. But after spending just a few days experimenting with Claude Code, I’ve realized something. The entire creative industry is changing, and it’s changing FAST. The crazy part isn’t just that AI can help you work faster. It’s that you can build entirely new workflows around it. Automating repetitive tasks, generating assets, writing scripts, creating animations, developing custom tools, and connecting everything into one powerful creative pipeline. Things that previously required hours of manual work can now be approached in completely different ways. And honestly? I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface. Now, don’t get me wrong. I’m NOT abandoning Premiere Pro or After Effects. I’ll still use both because they’re incredible tools, and everything I’ve learned over the years still matters. But I’m no longer limiting myself to traditional editing workflows. I’m combining my experience with new technology to work smarter, experiment more, and push my creativity further. And here’s something I strongly believe: If you want to win, you need to adapt. You can’t expect to stay ahead of everyone else while refusing to evolve. You need to be willing to learn new things, experiment with unfamiliar tools, and constantly challenge the way you’ve been doing things. The goal isn’t to keep up with everyone else. The goal is to stay one step ahead. 🧠 And that applies to pretty much everything, not just video editing. Technology doesn’t wait for anyone. The people who adapt early, understand new opportunities, and figure out how to use them effectively are the ones who will have an advantage. But there’s one thing AI won’t magically give you. Creative vision. You still need to understand storytelling, pacing, sound design, composition, and what makes a video genuinely engaging. AI can help execute an idea, but it doesn’t automatically make that idea good. That’s why I believe the future belongs to creatives who combine actual skills with the ability to use new technology. Not people who blindly rely on AI. And not people who refuse to touch it. The people who understand BOTH. I’ve only been experimenting with Claude Code for a few days, and I’ve already got so many ideas I want to bring to life. I’m still learning, still making mistakes, and still figuring out how far I can push this. But one thing is certain. I’d rather spend my time learning the tools of tomorrow than defending the workflows of yesterday. I’m not throwing away years of editing experience. I’m using that experience to build something better. Adapt. Improve. Innovate. Stay one step ahead. Always. 🚀🔥 This is just the beginning. 👀

@AndrejVucetic_ thank you brother, i've been working on sfx a lot lately

Sound design is becoming one of my favorite parts of editing 🎧 I can spend ages getting the visuals right, then add one well-timed impact or a subtle riser and suddenly the whole sequence feels different. The tricky part is knowing when to hold back. If every movement gets a whoosh and every cut gets a hit, the important moments start losing their weight. Sometimes lowering the music or leaving a brief pause before an impact does more than adding another layer. That’s something I’m working on in my edits: giving each sound a reason to be there and enough space to actually feel it 🔊 Still learning, still experimenting, and occasionally spending far too long choosing a sound for half a second of footage 😂 Editors, what takes you longer: getting the visuals right or finding the perfect sound?

@Malaviya_0012 thank you👐

Here's a little sneak peek of an edit I've been working on lately 👀🔊 Been putting a lot of focus on sound design with this one. Full edit dropping soon, along with the SFX folder! 🔥

@byjoni_ The structure and the text are mine. I only used AI for some final polishing since English isn’t my native language.

5/5 — Practice with intention. 🚀 Don’t just edit for the sake of editing. Pick ONE skill you want to improve. Recreate something you like. Study why it works. Try making your own version. Repeat. And don’t compare your chapter 1 to someone else’s chapter 100. Keep creating. 🤝

4/5 — Stop overcomplicating motion graphics. 🎨 You don’t need 50 effects to make something look professional. Focus on: • Smooth easing • Clean typography • Consistent spacing • Purposeful movement Master the basics before chasing complicated animations.

3/5 — Sound design changes EVERYTHING. 🔊 Try watching your favorite edit without sound. Feels completely different, right? Start experimenting with: • Impacts • Whooshes • Risers • Ambience • Subtle background details Sound should support the visuals, not fight them.

2/5 — Learn pacing. ⏱️ Not every second needs a transition, zoom, or effect. Sometimes letting a shot breathe is exactly what makes it powerful. Learn when to speed things up and when to slow them down. Good pacing keeps people watching.

1/5 — Storytelling comes first. 🧠 Before adding effects, ask yourself: • What’s the purpose of this scene? • What should the viewer feel? • Why would someone keep watching? A simple edit with great storytelling will always beat a flashy edit with no direction.
