Jensen does NOT support Prop 40 or the wealth tax. I have discussed this with Jensen & the reporting is untrue. What he has said is that IF the tax were to pass - he would stay & pay it. He loves CA & will pay his taxes but he too is worried it could negatively impact CA. 🇺🇸

@SemiAnalysis_ @JeremieEO @robotknower @JordanNanos U guys do great work. Fun to chop it up w @dylan522p at our AGM this week. After listening to the @elonmusk call, your convo, & my Jensen pod last week - our forecast likely trending higher. 🧐📈

@paulcheng2046 @TrumpAccounts No trading. The holding period is 5 yrs. If you choose to sell after 5 years the cash proceeds automatically get reinvested back into the S&P 500 index fund.

This is a feature not a bug. By requiring the stock to be held for a reasonable length, we unlock massive philanthropy for the children who need it most. And the holding period is balanced according to age. If you are 17, your lock up period is less than 1 yr. If 16, less than 2 years. But if you are 12 & under then your holding period is 5 years. Of course there are other ways to do this - but the Treasury / IRS temporary regulations seem to strike a reasonable balance for the stock gifts which are clearly within the authority granted to the Treasury as part of Section 530A.
