I'm not a huge fan of forced achievements, but I do think there could be value in some kind of implementation for NSO games at the least, as it might encourage people to check out some games they otherwise wouldn't have thought to.

@AndreSegers Maybe like a more general completion board. Like a gold trophy for finishing a game, a platinum for completing it, and nothing more than that. Nothing that would lead to the player playing in an otherwise unintended way
@AndreSegers So, you are saying achievements are not about the game, but is about what peopke would feel if thay win a badge every time they play the game? It's not for me
@AndreSegers Nintendo should have simple achievements that give us ítems for Animal Crossing or to decorate a Mii House app that our friends can visit.
@AndreSegers I just want a higher cap for Mii storage 😭
@AndreSegers They're sort of doing that by making people play games if they want the profile pictures. If they tied profile icons to achievements that'd be cool (until there's one I can't manage)
@AndreSegers They should add trophies just cause I know a lot of people play games on other platforms specifically so they can get the trophies
@AndreSegers Nintendo ALWAYS do their own thing Noone on the Wii U dev team ever touched a PlayStation or Xbox and that gave us Miiverse The closest thing we have Is missions which give you Icons but that Isn't to say games don't have achievements Minecraft has xbox achievements on switch
@AndreSegers I love looking at data and stats, and I find very amusing how game achievements tell a story of how far people got into said game. A game where 70% of people have the "begin game" achievement, but only 20% have the "clear game" achievement is so funny and intereresting.
