@Metaxia25 @StephenM I care little how they respond (Dems) but rather, I hope this motivates the centrists out there (both left &right) to vote, and vote like their life depends on it. Because in this case, until the "jihad cult" of the Dem party is repudiated at the polls, we are all at risk.

The strong odor of sulfur combined with white smoke was all I could see. It was completely silent. Not a sound, nor any movement. We had just ordered a falafel and a beer, and for the first time in two weeks, Lisa and I had decided to sit inside a restaurant, as opposed to eating outside. Every single day (and meal) the weather was perfect – temperatures in the high 70’s, low 80’s. We ate three meals a day, outside, in the evening, under the stars. This particular day, a Thursday, at 3:30pm, high school had just released, and a group of 20 teenage girls had arrived at the same falafel place as us. The girls were all sitting outside the front of the establishment, laughing and giggling (and being teenagers) on picnic tables with large umbrellas shielding the table from the sunshine. 3:30pm on a Thursday. We saw an open picnic table, and at that moment, we made a decision that to this day, still resonates with me. “Let’s eat inside.” Three words that changed our life. I remember vividly everything that happened, as I replayed the moment that two loud explosions rocked the front of the falafel restaurant we were in. I remember the sounds, the smell, the silence. I remember the moment I looked at Lisa, and realized that she was alive. I remember seeing bodies lying all around us. I remember trying to stand up with all the roofing materials on top of us. Wires, sheetrock, wood, and dust…… We huddled to the kitchen of the establishment, waiting for another explosion. An elderly woman hugged me tightly and would not let me go, she was not crying, but in shock and tugging my arm. Excerpts from various headlines the next day in newspapers: Prague, 5 September 1997 (RFE/RL) -- The Western press today responded with outrage and a little hope to yesterday's suicide bombings in Jerusalem's bustling Ben Yehuda Street, which killed and injured scores of Israelis. LOS ANGELES TIMES: Sobbing teenagers clung to one another Rebecca Trounson describes the scene this way: "The synchronized explosions -- the second such attack in five weeks -- transformed Jerusalem's Ben Yehuda Street from a casual, end-of-summer scene of bustling cafes and souvenir shops to one of carnage and fear. We were simply eating falafel on Ben Yehuda Street. We stepped over the teenage girls as we hurried out, who were murdered, while enjoying an after school snack on a pedestrian mall, in the heart of Jerusalem. Their crime? Being Jewish and living in their ancestral homeland. That day changed the trajectory of my life. We chose to turn this event, this terror attack into something that allowed us to “enjoy every sandwich.” (To borrow a Warren Zevon quote) In every way imaginable….. To take nothing for granted, and try to control our destiny, no matter where and how the storm winds of life blew into us, or with us. To try to not sweat the small stuff. “Toss away stuff you don't need in the end, keep what's important and know who’s your friend.” To try to value experiences over possessions. As of today, I have lived a total of 21,212 days. When this terror attack happened, while we sat in the falafel restaurant I had lived 10,620 days. Since that day, Sept 4th, 1997 – up until this very day, I have lived 10,591 days. Almost at the half-time of “pre and post” living, since my rebirth of sorts. I’m not a martyr. I’m not remotely portraying or sharing this event in any way, other than to remember what could have been, and what was. A few of the victims names: Yael Botvin, 14 (also a U.S. citizen) Sivan Zarka, 14 Smadar Elhanan, 14 Rami Kozashvili, 20 Eliahu Markowitz, 40 Yael, Sivan, and Smadar would have been 43 years old. They missed their days…..days of life, days of energy, days of creation…..days of amazement. In some small way, I hope we made them proud. I hope our journey and the 10,591 days since then, has made a positive impact on someone else's journey. I’m confident it has. If you have read this far, know this. I’m a proud Jewish American. A fierce Zionist. The event that we survived on Sept 4th 1997 made me realize that I must speak loudly, boldly, and truthfully to the values, and ideals that are most important to me. Silence supports the oppressor. I will never be silent, or cower to the mob mentality. I have been extremely blessed and lucky. I intend to make the next 30 years, or 10,959 days perhaps remaining in my existence, more impactful and full of energy – than the last 21,000+. You see, a few Hamas terrorists could not kill us. @joe_zappa No doubt. Publicis will win in this game, as their leadership and strategy/execution on the "Control Layer" model is truly awesome and frankly, second to none. The mid market is wide open, and the area where the "hill" (that you speak of) is green and full of opportunity.

A thread on the coming storm of AI for Businesses, directed at CTO's and CFO's. 1 - AI feels cheap right now. That's not an accident — it's the free trial. Every major AI provider is still in growth mode, subsidizing usage to win market share. That phase doesn't last.

1 - hey Joe. Publicis is absolutely uniquely positioned to own this function. I am calling it, "the control layer." The "Control Layer" or CL, does a few very important things for any business: 1) One master platform (UI) with hundreds of integrations to every AI provider. 2) One service, one contract, and one predictable bill, reconciled and handled by the CL, on behalf of the client. 3) The CL goes where your data is. Industries with the strictest rules benefit greatly. 4) The CL is the auditor and every response is checked and every source is named transparently...... 5) The coming storm of more models, more price changes, more vendors goes away with the CL -- it sits above the ai giants, and routes prompts accordingly. 6) Compression of Prompts: This is HUGE and perhaps where most of the cost savings comes from. Basically, making sure the CL learns, and routes/returns and delivers models that are best for the business. 7) Transparency - no competing with anyone. The CL becomes a "white label" UI = (this is already out there, but it is lacking the cost savings, governance and transparency insights.....that will be needed when token compression becomes a key metric for CFO's and CTO's) 8) Lastly, I believe that the savings on generating models and token usage is the metric to bill on. No SaaS, and no usage model, rather a straight cost savings (ex. the CL saved 25-75% on your existing Claude or Open Ai contract) .... this is where it gets super sexy and interesting. I think of it similar in integrations to what we built at Lotame as a Data Exchange. Hundred of global data partners made available for buyers to activate on. We paid out to data providers based on how their data was activated on, and buyers on the amount of data they used. The CL flips that and keeps the leverage with the enterprise or brand. Ai partner raises prices? Re-route in real time the prompts from an internal team. Models and queries are slow and inaccurate? Move to another ai partner in real time -- and all the governance, legal, routing and billing is handled by the CL. So yes, Publicis and other consultancies can do this, and as you may have seen - RFI's are increasingly coming out from Brands for, "strategy and transformation." The CL (or Control Layer) should (and will be) the first piece of the evolving puzzle. This is my focus.

8 - This is the area of focus that I believe where an "independent" platform, focused on cost, results, governance, and transparency will thrive. I am less inclined to trust any one platform to showcase this set of capabilties, because they will be "disincentived" to drive down clients usage and revenue....quite the opposite, once they are all public companies.

@michelletandler - this is spot on awesome analysis. sadly, we have an education system that treats and rewards these people, and their behaviors, actions, and results. it really is a sociological experiment, and we are the "lab mice" until we see the final report.

The DSA is coming into full focus now. I think I finally get the "theater kids" comment. These people are not serious. They are immature. They want attention. They are acting. Most of them have hardly held jobs. Almost all grew up rich. Many did not perform well in school

I think the next wave will be "routing and model optimization" by enterprises, to gain more valuable outputs, aligned with cost: 1 - models/requests correctly routed, ("autorouted") to the correct provider. 2 - prompt optimization: images, video, voice all in the same wallet, and routed correctly. call it, "every medium, one prompt." 3 - splice - one prmpt which can be simulaneoulsy sent out to and judged for agreement, synthesized for response, and scored for answer. receipts stored and acted on for cost and latency. These are some of the services that the "cycle compression" you speak of, that will (and are emerging) from enterprises now looking at really optimizing their "ai model/token" usage to drive better results, and reduce costs. We all saw this post cloud adoption, where firms and services emerged to assist in reducing their cloud costs.

@nrmehta Big one for me (and this is more the personal touch thing) was to add my mobile number at the end of the presentation for them to ask questions, use it when they are clients, etc -- to elevate any concerns they have directly to me (as CEO/Founder). Hint: It worked. :).
