@Bad_Company37 @ThisIsTexasFF Campaign specific issues or party platform issues? The @Americas_Party national platform can be found at selfgovernment.us. I appreciate @ThisIsTexasFF sharing my Alamo speech, that covered most of the campaign issues. I support @TxAgainstHSR and oppose eminent domain.

For my friends and supporters who DO vote in the primary, you can still help us gather signatures starting on March 14th and your help in that effort WILL be appreciated.

With early voting in the March 6th primary beginning tomorrow, let me be perfectly clear: I am NOT encouraging anyone to vote in the primary because America's Party of Texas will need ALL the signatures we can get in order to gain ballot access in Texas this year! #ballotaccess

@K1Lawren @Americas_Party @TXvoterschoice @TXsecofstate Please do and thanks for your interest! Ballot access restrictions are a critical but frequently ignored issue that deprives "We The People" of a full voice in our government.

@K1Lawren @Americas_Party @TX4HSFREEDOM It's the GLO Commissioner's job to help provide funding for public ed in Texas and I believe that provides a platform for articulating how that public ed spending is being mismanaged or misdirected.

@K1Lawren @Americas_Party @TX4HSFREEDOM As someone who represented @TX4HSFREEDOM during last year's lege session, I can tell you that we oppose vouchers because that's government funding of private schools. As Land Commissioner, I would articulate to the Leg that they could do a better job with the funding of pub ed.

@K1Lawren @Americas_Party I wish... that would be awesome if true, but sadly @TXvoterschoice can tell you that deadlines are much, much earlier. I filed with @Americas_Party of Texas on Dec. 11th; the party filed with @TXsecofstate on Jan. 2nd and all of our party's signatures must be turned in by May 28.

@K1Lawren @Americas_Party Q: What specific policies of Rep Cain do you disagree with? When I was citizen lobbying in Austin last session, I found myself both agreeing and disagreeing with Rep Cain, but on different issues. The biggest disagreement came re: homeschool lege, as I support @TX4HSFREEDOM.

@K1Lawren @Americas_Party Texas ballot access law requires new parties to find candidates willing to commit before a single signature is gathered. Very few people are willing to file paperwork 6+ months in advance, when there's ZERO guarantee of eventually being on the Nov ballot.

@STCP_Jim @K1Lawren @TexasTribune @MrMiguelSuazo @Americas_Party @TXvoterschoice The filing deadline was back in Dec, even though @Americas_Party didn't have ballot access in Texas. I decided not to announce publicly until the party filed with the @TXsecofstate on Jan. 2nd declaring our intention to seek ballot access in 2018.

@TKovachNashvil @TomHoefling @Americas_Party I wish I had that high visibility at the moment, not there yet. The opponent he is referring to is one of the GOP primary opponents. What's ironic is that unnamed opponent's son is a pilot for MarineOne and flies the POTUS around.
