Two photos, but some 85 years apart. In 1940, Londoners huddled in the Underground while Nazi bombs rained down overhead. Today, Ukrainians take shelter from Russian missiles and drones in the Kyiv Metro. Different times, different countries. But that same resilience! London got through it and so will Ukraine. .@newrepublic continues to set the gold standard for how to cover Donald Trump and his failing Presidency. No notes. Keep it up.

I’ll just leave this right here.

The real truth.⬇️⬇️Trump will always be Putin’s puppet.

God Bless our Military 🙏🙏

Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region. The world may have stopped reacting — but we can’t. Another day, another set of homes erased by russian bombs. And every day, the world’s silence feels even louder.

BREAKING: Shocking audio was just unearthed exposing Joe Biden for asking the Secretary of State to find him 11,780 votes, because... oh wait. That was trump. And that case was just dismissed in a bullshit decision. But we will NEVER forget.

🚨Trump and Hegseth crossed the Rubicon today. Their attack on veteran @SenMarkKelly thrusts America into a new and dangerous place. Not just for Kelly, but also for 2 million military retirees in this country. And all Americans should be alarmed and outraged. From CNN AC360 tonight with John Berman.🚨🇺🇸

Going….going…HE IS GONE‼️

I miss peaceful Ukraine... I want our children to cry only from happiness. I dream of a day when roads will lead not to evacuation, but to home, to friends, to loved ones. I want soldiers to return from the front and always be close to their families. To raise children... to make plans for the future. And to see weapons only during training exercises. I want to see not only military planes in the sky again, but also passenger planes. I want cities to wake up not to sirens, but to the sound of a living, developing city. I want the place where a shell fell yesterday to become a flowerbed or a playground tomorrow. I dream of a field, riddled with craters, to once again become a harvest field. I want us to one day look at a map of Ukraine and see not lines of defense, not battle zones, but to search for interesting and beautiful places to visit. So that our children know their country not from news maps, but from trips to the sea, from hikes in the Carpathian Mountains, from celebrations in the squares. I want the only sound of explosions to be fireworks on holidays. I want drones to fly only to film the beauty of my beloved Ukraine or to capture certain events. So that we all meet in Ukraine, hug, and remember how much we've been through together during these difficult times. So that Ukraine becomes stronger and even more beautiful than it was before the war. I want Ukraine to once again resound with laughter, music, and children's cries in the playgrounds, not the echo of destruction. So that everyone who was forced to leave their home, fleeing bombs and missiles, can return home without fear or doubt—to their homes, to their land. I want our fields to once again sway with golden waves of wheat, not black smoke. For the rivers to reflect a peaceful sky, not alarming lights. I want the word "shelter" to remain only in old stories told by adults, and for children to know it only as part of history, not their reality. For the word "air alert" to disappear from our phones. I want Ukraine to teach the world not how to survive under fire, but how to love, how to dream, how to be free. For our country to be known not by headlines about war, but by stories of beauty, courage, culture, people... I miss peaceful Ukraine...

Pure horror for civilians in Ukraine

Russians struck a residential building in Zaporizhzhia, regional governor Fedorov reported. Reports say a fire broke out across several floors.

Civilian body parts. Dead fireman where I was just standing. Torture chambers with sodomy tools. Block after block, every family raped. Every dog burned alive. How did America, through Witkoff, become one of THEM? On THEIR side? Helping THEM? My soul screams in this moment.

Nobody, not even the fiercest right-wing hosts, can back Pete Buttigieg into a corner. He calmly dismantles every attack with facts, logic, and Midwestern charm. It’s literally impossible; the man is unflappable. Impressive every single time. 🚀

I can't believe this story where Republicans pretend that members of Congress telling soldiers they don't have to follow UNLAWFUL orders is "sedition" is still in the news. Especially since we all KNOW what sedition looks like. trump demonstrated it on January 6th.

RETWEET if you support Sen. Mark Kelly!

Here’s my plan: Russian soldiers go home. They leave Ukraine , Georgia and Moldova. Russia honors the many international treaties they have signed to recognize the sovereignty of their neighbors. Russia stops making long-range missiles and caps its army at 500,000. For the first time in 2 decades, Russia holds free and fair elections. Ukraine agrees to respect the territorial integrity of the Russian empire and will not push for independence of Russian republics.

russians "negotiate" peace. my homecity, Zaporizhzhia, is being presented with a 28-point peace plan right now. many apartment buildings are on fire after being bombed. trust them never.
