Romain Toutain revealed more about Mass Effect 5/Universe (this one really stings): ✨"The Shepard" was customizable and could do same moves in real combat as trailer ✨Everything in game was "stateful" ✨All choices from 1-3 taken into account ✨Called Universe so you could plug your saves together to create parallel universes (simplified explanation) but you could almost generate timelines similar to Zero Time ✨You could make decisions that might contradict things you've already done and so it would create plot "points" in the timeline ✨Missions didn't fail because you killed someone, paths would remain open (it worked well) ✨Absolute autonomy was the cornerstone of the game ✨No two players would experience the same thing, would have "experienced the same story but differently" ✨"EA never sells anything. they just shut things down and sit on their licenses" ✨Barman was a new race ✨Lore was incredible around new mass relays ✨"Billy" the hand thing might have generated tentacles ✨Was an idea for sharing your saves ✨He says it was fucking amazing it was an absolute banger and we would have loved it. @Knight10293847 In BG3 your character chooses an option and the character monologues at you for several lines staight. There's no back and forth, it's just lines and lines after picking a single sentence. Bioware lets you be an active participant. CRPGS and Larian itself, forget that part.

@Knight10293847 I once did a comparison between a scene from Bg3 and ME1 where it was Garrus vs Wyll. In both scenes the characters are talking about their fathers. In the Mass Effect scene the game is constantly asking for your input, theres a back and forth to the conversation.

@sued709 @CorbynRed It isn't. That sentence is talking about protected classes. What they're saying is that you can't look at someone's social media, find out they're gay and not hire them because of that. Political opinions are not a protected class in Canada or the United States.
